Shannon had once been a powerful opponent of Gender Ideology in schools. However, in February 2026 he switched sides, and began heavily criticizing a parental rights policy that had just been debated at the Conservative Party Convention. This policy sought to repeal the Liberal government's so-called "conversion therapy ban" which prescribes up to 5 years in jail for parents who arrange body-affirming therapy to help their gender-confused child feel at peace in the body God gave them. CLC was very disappointed to see Shannon defect to the other side.

Boschy gave perfect, pro-parental rights answers to CLC's 2022 municipal election questionnaire.

This trustee is a biological male who identifies as a woman in his mind. Mr. Evans ran for the rabidly pro-abortion and pro-LGBT New Democratic Party in the 2018 Ontario provincial election, being billed as the first transgender activist to run as a candidate in one of Ontario's major parties.

In July 2018, enraged over the principled repeal of the child-abusive Wynne Liberals' LGBT sex-curriculum by the newly elected Doug Ford PC government, Mr. Evans threatened to run for a trustee's position with the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, and eventually did so, becoming the first so-called "openly transgender" school trustee.
