At the May 31, 2023 School Board meeting, Trustee Estelle Ah-Kiow ignored the concerns of parents who were opposed to the Board's previous decision to fly the homosexual Pride flag, voting against a Motion to re-open the topic for debate. This admirable Motion to respect parental rights in education was defeated.
