In May 2023, Trustee McNicol rightly voted against a scandalous Motion to fly the anti-Catholic, homosexual/transgender Pride flag at the YCDSB's Catholic Education Centre for the entire month of June.

Previously, Ms. McNicol voted YES on Trustee Cathy Ferlisi's 2014 motion to write a letter to OECTA asking their membership not to participate in the homosexual World Pride Parade "as members of the Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association."

On her campaign Instagram page, she shows off a "Celebrating Pride Month" post in which she praises an LGBT-themed rainbow sculpture of human upper torses covered in the symbol of homosexuality and transgenderism. Calabrese would represent a spiritual danger to the next generation of Catholic youth, if she got elected as a trustee. She has not yet responded to CLC's 2026 candidate survey.

On his campaign website, Moore boasts of his activism in promoting LGBT ideology in schools, as well as its various euphemisms and anti-Catholic trojan horse programs, like "equity", "anti-bullying" and "social justice". This is a spiritually dangerous candidate.
