Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board
Mississauga Ward 06 & 11
Number to Elect: 1

Rating Comments

In a surprising and hopeful pivot away from previous support for LGBT propaganda at the DPCDSB, Trustee del Rosario voted against a sneaky motion in January 2025 that would have re-introduced the flying of “special interest” flags (chiefly the LGBT Pride flag) at the school board. This good move by the trustee may have been due in large part to a strong letter from Cardinal Leo, Archbishop of Toronto, against the promotion of political or ideological symbols at Catholic school boards that contradict Catholic teaching.

Previously, on September 26, 2023 this trustee voted in a disgraceful manner, to change the DPCDSB by-law governing Delegations & Submissions made by parents at school board meetings, to include new censorship provisions designed to block parents from being able to criticize Gender Identity Theory and LGBT Ideology.

Prior to this trustee's pro-LGBT, anti-Catholic censorship vote, CLC had endorsed Luz del Rosario based on her responses to our survey. We believe those responses are no longer trustworthy based on her recent actions.
