Incumbent Trustee Darryl Brian D'Souza gave perfect answers to CLC's 2026 Catholic trustee candidate questionnaire.

In a surprising and hopeful pivot away from previous support for LGBT propaganda at the DPCDSB, Trustee D'Souza voted against a sneaky motion in January 2025 that would have re-introduced the flying of “special interest” flags (chiefly the LGBT Pride flag) at the school board. He was also the seconder for the original motion to ban all flags except the Canadian, Ontario, Vatican and DPCDSB flags. These good moves by the trustee may have been due in large part to a strong letter from Cardinal Leo, Archbishop of Toronto, against the promotion of political or ideological symbols at Catholic school boards that contradict Catholic teaching.

Previously, on September 26, 2023 this trustee voted in a disgraceful manner, to change the DPCDSB by-law governing Delegations & Submissions made by parents at school board meetings, to include new censorship provisions designed to block parents from being able to criticize Gender Identity Theory and LGBT Ideology.

At a Policies Review Committee Meeting in June 2024, this trustee voted in favour of a sneaky motion to allow special-interest-group flags - which includes the homosexualist Pride flag - to be flown at the DPCDSB, and also voted against a good motion that specifically would have excluded the scandalous Pride flag from flying at the Board.

On her campaign website she openly promotes LGBT Pride, with a large photo of her and others wearing "Pride" t-shirts. Her campaign website is also filled with terms like "diversity", "equity" and "inclusion" which are often euphemistic dog whistles by politicians who want to signal to fellow leftists that they will be fanatical cheerleaders for homosexual and transgender propaganda. Darmanin-Sturgeon would be spiritually toxic if she were to become a Catholic trustee.
She did not respond to CLC's 2026 election questionnaire, which is not surprising given her anti-Catholic views on LGBTQ2S+ ideology. In 2022, Dominique ran in Brampton Wards 1,3,4 in 2022 and lost. In 2022 she also did not respond to our survey.
