In response to a pro-life voter who sent CLC's 2022 municipal election survey, Massimi largely avoided taking a clear position on abortion. He said, "I believe all life is sacred", but would not go as far as saying that he opposes abortion. He also criticized the use of abortion to target babies with disabilities, and expressed some concern about the message that sends "to our brothers and sister with Downs Syndrome" in society, especially in the advent of legalized euthanasia.

Mr. Massimi would benefit from being further educated on abortion from pro-lifers. This might encourage him to take a more forthright, pro-life stand.

4. There has been a move in some municipal jurisdictions to pass bylaws which establish censorship zones, also called “bubble zones”, around abortion facilities. These unconstitutional censorship zones make it illegal to express peaceful pro-life speech, including silent prayer, on taxpayer-owned public sidewalks within the vicinity of abortion facilities and pharmacies which dispense abortion pills. If elected, would you vote to oppose such a censorship bylaw, if it were ever proposed? survey not sentsurvey not sentno responsesurvey not sent
