In February 2024, Councillor Hamilton voted to eliminate 'female only' washrooms, change rooms, and showers at a local Recreation Centre, thus exposing women and girls in these intimate spaces to partially or fully unclothed men, all in the name of normalizing transgender ideology.

As a Catholic school trustee in the WCDSB, Da Silva undermined the Catholic faith, in total violation of his fiduciary (and spiritual) obligations.

At an April 14, 2025 WCDSB meeting, he was part of a delegation of former trustees, including Brian Schmalz, Bill Conway and Wendy Price, who spoke AGAINST a motion to ban all political symbols, including the transgender & homosexual Pride flag.

Collectively, the delegation promoted "LGBT inclusion" in Catholic schools and represented active dissent from Catholic moral teaching (which condemns the sex acts and lifestyles represented by that controversial flag).

1. Organizations like Planned Parenthood (PP) routinely counsel women to have abortions, and increasingly, are involved in dispensing the chemical abortion pill. Given that abortion is a controversial practice that many taxpayers in your municipality find abhorrent, do you agree that PP and similar “sexual health agencies" should not receive taxpayer funds through the municipality? survey not yet sentsurvey not yet sent

4. There has been a move in some municipal jurisdictions to pass bylaws which establish censorship zones, also called “bubble zones”, around abortion facilities. These unconstitutional censorship zones make it illegal to express peaceful pro-life speech, including silent prayer, on taxpayer-owned public sidewalks within the vicinity of abortion facilities and pharmacies which dispense abortion pills. If elected, would you vote to oppose such a censorship bylaw, if it were ever proposed? survey not yet sentsurvey not yet sent
