Given that abortion is a controversial practice that many taxpayers in your municipality find abhorrent, do you agree that PP and similar “sexual health agencies" should not receive taxpayer funds through the municipality? survey not sentsurvey not sentsurvey not sentsurvey not sent

On August 24, 2017, Toronto City Councillor Paula Fletcher, along with fellow councillor Mary Fragedakis, TDSB Trustee Jennifer Story, and Toronto-Danforth MPP Peter Tabuns, jointly sent a letter of petition to Ontario Attorney General Yasir Naqvi, calling for the prohibition of pro-life signs and flyers distributed by the pro-life organization Canadian Centre for Bioethical Reform. The pro-life materials feature images of babies killed by abortion, which the above-named petitioners consider too grisly to be viewed by the public, but apparently not grisly enough to stop the murder of preborn children by abortion in the first place.

In June 2012, after the death of Henry Morgentaler, Councillor Fletcher sponsored a motion for council to honour the infamous abortionist with a minute of silence. Morgentaler admits to having personally killed over 80,000 children in the womb. The motion hailed the notorious abortionist as "a pioneer of reproductive freedom in Canada" whose "courage and determination helped ensure every Canadian woman has the right to choose... Beginning with his own practice and expanding across the country, Dr. Morgentaler challenged unjust laws that jeopardized women's health and well-being".
